I have been to JJs twice and found that all of the food is good. My husband and I order different menu items so we can sample more of the food. The wait staff is quick and efficient, they check back to ensure we have all that we need, and they are friendly. Love the food and will be going back often.
Great dive here at JJ’s in Abingdon, VA! The food was so good- the fries especially were perfect (every single one). My husband ordered “The best burger in town” and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and their “Bloody Mary cocktail sauce” was exceptional. I recommend this place!
Just passing through. I saw the reviews and this place has delicious food. Very good service and atmosphere. I had the best ever Ruben, my husband had the meatloaf platter, one of my granddaughters had chicken parmesan the flavor was so good. My other granddaughter had the quarterpounder with cheese and pickles. Our server Chelsea was awesome. If ever we come this way again we will definitely stop buy. 4 happy eaters.

Great atmosphere and they seem to only hire nice/friendly staff. Food has never failed to be anything but outstanding. Give their livers & tomato jam a try if you’re feeling froggy, may change your mind! Nothing bad I’ve tried on the menu! I keep coming back!
I am so glad someone suggested this restaurant to us today! We have been on a week long road trip all the way to Texas and now heading back towards home trying new local restaurants along the way and this one is definitely at the top of the list!!! The service was great! Thanks Kamrynfor taking care of us! We had the pork chop platter and it was a gracious portion. The.pork chop was fried to perfection, mashed potatoes seasoned just right and the Mac and cheese hit the spot!! This is definitely a return to place for me.
Okay...everything we had was delicious and devoured!! From the spicy jalapeno wings coming out juicy, crispy and with a slight sweetness...to the catfish dinner with great granny’s pinto beans recipe as a side ...all the way to the Milky Way cake. Fantastic meal!!! Great service as well.
Best burgers in Abingdon! Stopped in for some dinner with my teenagers while visiting Abingdon. Friendly staff, the server was kind, and accommodating, good menu selections and reasonably priced. Will definitely be adding JJ’s to our list of stops when we visit again!
